The dosage rate of soda needed to increase the total alkalinity to the required level is 80-150 ppm.

User manual:

1. Use the “four in one” water test box to check the total alkalinity and pH before putting the soda into the tank.
2. Do not try again if the chlorine level is above 2 ppm but wait about an hour after adding new chemicals to carry out the next test.
3. For the most economical and economical use of chlorine in the pool, the total alkalinity should be maintained at 80-150 ppm and the pH at 7.2 ppm – 7.6 ppm.
4. Important: Adjust the total alkalinity before increasing the pH.
