Bajau children play with the blue water

Both adults and children Bajau are not interested in his age. Children learn to live offshore rather than learn and even become professional diver when they are young.

Life here does not seem to be found anywhere, without any interference of what belongs to the industry. All people see is pristine, peaceful but also very strange.

Réhahn – a French photographer who has been attached to Vietnam through his portraits of people who photographed Bajau children playing in the sea. The 36-year-old photographer said he felt the carefree, innocent look from the eyes and faces of the Bajau kids he touched. He did not find any obstacles because they themselves created the conditions for him to complete the series in the most natural way.

 Réhahn adds, Bajau people rarely land. They just leave the boat when needed to trade, exchange the necessary items really. And they really do not care about their age, because they live because of the present – the most precious moments are waving in the middle of the sea.
